Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) System is a vital component of security platforms. Basically, system is a device which monitors installations, facilities, buildings, pipelines, etc. for malicious activities, intrusions or policy violations and produces video streams to a management station.
CCTV systems are based on strategically-placed video cameras, which capture footage and then broadcast it to either a private (closed) network of monitors for real-time viewing, or to a video recorder (either analog or digital) for later reference.
The system can be IP, analogue or hybrid types based on the execution area (in door, outdoor) operational requirements (day/night usage, zoom etc.), environmental conditions (weather proof, water proof etc.), PTZ (Pan Tilf Zoom), fixed etc.
